Tomorrow I take over my friend Amanda’s Facebook Book Blog page, Taking Life by the Books, at https://www.facebook.com/TakingLifebyBooks?fref=ts. I’m equaling excited and nervous as this is my first Facebook page event! I hope you’ll stop by to check it out. I’ll have three prize giveaways and be highlighting all the characters from Is This Me? Additionally the Kindle version of Is This Me? will be $0.99 for the day! Let all your friends know to go to http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YIABVKG to get Is This Me? for $0.99 for just one day.
For my email subscribers I have a special preview. As I reviewed all my characters I thought about their personalities and how each one of them related to Amanda in different ways. It got me to thinking about how I related to people, what type of friend I was. Sometimes it’s hard to view yourself obljectively so I took this quiz I found online at http://www.playbuzz.com/margottouitou10/what-type-of-friend-are-you. The type of friends included:
1. Shoulder to Cry On
3. Honest Confidant
4. The Rock
The result of my test was that I was an honest confidant which I think is pretty accurate. I like to help friends out by listening to what’s going on with them. I ususally just listen, but if they ask my opinion I feel I owe them an honest one. Reviewing the people in my life I can pick out which friends I count on to be my rock, or matriarch, sensible mentor, or shoulder to cry on. I feel lucky to have all these different friends.
Lila is Amanda’s first friend I’ll be highlighting tomorrow. As her best friend since elementary school, I think Lila serves as an honest confidant. She’s equally fun loving though and always pulling Amanda into cool activities like intramural teams and a night out with their friends. If their were a partner in crime needed, I think Amanda’s would be Lila.
Check out all the characters of Is This Me? tomorrow on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/TakingLifebyBooks?fref=ts.
All the best,
