After a great vacation I’m back and ready to dive into another fall season. For many of us it’s back to school time. Secretly, I live vicariously through my kids and characters. Yes, I admit it, I loved school. I even went to graduate school! Enough about me though, on to the subject at hand. This week and next I’ll be highlighting different aspects of my characters’ personalities. These two blogs lead up to my big event on Friday, August 21 when I’ll be taking over the Taking Life by the Books Facebook page for a day. That day I’ll be introducing all the Is This Me? characters with new pics and sneak peaks into their lives. Make sure you tune in for a chance to win a special Is This Me? prize pack and take advantage of other special offers at https://www.facebook.com/TakingLifebyBooks?fref=ts.
Anything new can be exciting and daunting at the same time. Different people approach new situations in completely different ways. Here’s a run down of several of the Is This Me? characters approach to meeting new people:
1. Amanda – Quiet until she knows you! Amanda doesn’t love being in new situations with lots of people she doesn’t know. She would rather hang out with a small crowd. Once she is comfortable with someone you may not be able to shut her up though!
2. Kate – Outgoing and confident! Kate loves meeting people. She can talk to anyone anytime.
3. Elise – Fun and no nonsense! Elise has no problem telling anyone anything. She’s prone to brutal honesty. But that’s what we love about Elise, she calls it as she sees it.
4. Lila – Easy going and fun. Lila likes to be in the happening spots with the funnest peeps. She’s most likely to find the coolest hangouts on campus.
I am definitely Amanda! Which Is This Me? character most closely matches your personality?
Can’t wait to hear from you!
