Thinking back over the past year, I am so thankful for the new people I have in my life. These people are creative, smart, and challenge me to do different things. In addition I feel so grateful for the wonderful friends and family that have been a part of my life for a long time. I wrote a blog on making new friends and keeping the old and the way friends enrich our lives. Over the years I have been so lucky to call many different groups and people family and friends. Growing up we would celebrate Thanksgiving at my grandparents house in Florida. The dinner would be spread out on the porch and aunts, uncles, cousins, and great aunts and uncles, would all come together. The kids had their own special kids table so we could get up before everyone else.
In school and college I gained yet another group of friends, some of which became like family. After college and through three different states we have made family and friends that no matter how near or far away enrich our lives. I am so grateful for all these people. From my family, to school friends, mentors, and girlfriends, I am thankful for each.
This year I have had the opportunity to expand that circle even farther with people from the author community. I feel so lucky to have met these people at UtopiaConn 2015 and be able to expand these relationships. If I wrote a list I surely would be typing for a while. From my editor, my formatter, proofreader, design artist, bloggers, who aren't just bloggers, advance copy readers, author friends, girlfriends, neighbors, family, and online circle, I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life.
I wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with happy memories!
All the best,
