Hottie of the Week – Chase from Perfect, a new adult romance
If you’re following my Hottie of the Week blog posts, welcome back! Today’s featured hottie, is Chase from Perfect. We meet Chase in Part 3, Chapter 7 of Perfect. Not to give too much away, but Chloe now lives in Paris with a brand new job in fashion. You will remember that Chloe grew up in a small town in the middle of Kentucky. She always had a passion for learning French. Living in Paris has been her dream since she was little. I’m not going to give to much away, but she works hard and makes that dream come true.
Chase and his friends, Kristophe, Mark, and Russell are French natives living in Paris. They’ve been hanging out with Chloe and her fashion school friends, Stelle, Meeka, and Kim, all year. We don’t meet Chase until Stelle’s, Meeka’s, and Kim’s goodbye party. Chase works at a bank and loves to play soccer. He asks Chloe out and makes dinner for her in her new apartment. They bond over their mutual love of rolling hills and have a perfect first kiss. Their weekly dates, turn into twice weekly dates, hangouts after his soccer games, and he invites her to his family’s wine vineyard. Yes, you read that right. His family owns a vineyard.
Chase is considerate and down to earth, but when Chloe leaves him out of some big plans gets hurt that she didn’t include him. And rightly so, I believe. But Chloe has a big decision to make. She’s falling in love with Chase. But can she put down roots in a country across the ocean from her family? As a single child of a single mother, will she follow her dreams or decide that being close to family is more important?
