Young Adult Summer Reading List
With the unofficial start of summer upon us, I wanted to share my summer reading list books including young adult summer reads as well as college and new adult romance reads. I chose these books from my titles because they are either set in summer or are fun, quick reads perfect for summer vacations. Although many of the books are in a series, they all can be read as standalones.
Drops of Sunshine Young Adult Paranormal Novel
Drops of Sunshine was the first young adult paranormal novel I wrote. It is a standalone novel of 130 pages,first published in Spellbound, an anthology collection of YA fantasy novels. It is set in the woods of Wisconsin with the main character, Nina, escaping there for a summer job as a camp lifeguard. Little does she know there is something very special about these campers.

Kingdom of Darkness Young Adult Fantasy
Kingdom of Darkness is a young adult fantasy novel, and the second in the Kingdom Journals series. The Kingdom Journals complete series includes four books, plus a prequel, each told from the perspective of a different character, hence the journals title. Each can be read as a standalone but continues the series story. They all can be found in ebook, paperback, and audiobook format.
Kingdom of Darkness is Camille’s story. Camille, with Alena and Hunter, forms a trinity of witches destined to break a curse on the witch lines.
